From<strong> Syracuse<\/strong>, with its rich historical heritage, to the majesty of Mount<strong>Etna<\/strong>, Mitoraj&#8217;s works blend magically with the places that host them, inviting visitors to reflect on the fragility of contemporary man and his relationship with nature.<\/p>\n<p>One of the most impressive works in the exhibition is <strong>&#8220;Theseus Cracked<\/strong>,&#8221; a monumental bronze sculpture that stands on the southwest slope of Mount Etna, set in a sweeping view with the volcano&#8217;s backdrop. Positioned near the entrance to the high-mountain track in the territory of <strong>Ragalna,<\/strong> this dramatic representation of the legendary Greek hero is a symbol of the strength and fragility of human beings.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>A good opportunity to admire these extraordinary works of art and to immerse oneself in the unique vision of <strong>Igor Mitoraj<\/strong>, an artist whose work continues to inspire and enchant even after his passing. The exhibition, sponsored by the <strong>Neapolis Archaeological Park in Syracuse<\/strong> and curated by Atelier Mitoraj, will be open during the park&#8217;s opening hours, with an<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-medium wp-image-1347\" src=\"https:\/\/www.mysiracusa.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/03\/mitoraj-agrigento-mysiracusa-240x300.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"240\" height=\"300\"> additional cost of only 3 euros to the site entrance fee.<\/p>\n<p>Artist Igor Mitoraj (1944-2014), born in Oederan, Saxony, left an indelible mark on the contemporary art world.
